Enterprise Hosting

Licensees can self-host BrM or use ProMiles hosting services. Agencies should weigh their own cost-benefit analysis — but starting in fiscal year 2029, BrM will be offered as a cloud-hosted solution only. The ProMiles option, called enterprise hosting, is available in the FY2026 AASHTOWare catalog.

ProMiles enterprise hosting includes

Dedicated development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production single-tenant environments through Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Siloed environments, so performance is never impacted by other agencies' usage.

ProMiles establishes, monitors, supports, and scales the environments to ensure optimal software performance.

ProMiles ensures no loss of service and responds immediately to restore service in the rare event of an outage.

ProMiles applies all upgrades and patches during times pre-scheduled with the licensee.

Database read and write abilities through a secure VPN tunnel.

5.00 TB of multimedia storage.

ProMiles registers the hosted environments with AASHTOWare OpenAPI.
